General conditions of sale

In order to become eligible to use the services provided by the campsite Lous Seurrots, we request that you read carefully the following general conditions. These conditions govern the sale of holidays, and take effect as soon as the order is made. By booking your stay, you agree with our general conditions at any point.

BOOKING CONDITIONS:

The reservation becomes effective with our agreement only, upon receipt of the due payment and either upon receipt of the booking contract duly completed and signed, or upon your agreement to the general conditions of sale when booking on-line. Pre-reservation is valid during 15 days, beyond this delay your pre-reservation will be cancelled. The campsite Lous Seurrots has the right to accept or to refuse bookings, depending on availability, and, in general, depending on any circumstance that is likely to be prejudicial to the execution of the booking made. Once your reservation is booked, the Campsite Lous Seurrots will send you a booking confirmation to show on your arrival.


CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT:

For bookings made over 30 days before the start of the holiday, a due payment of 25% of the total price of the facilities reserved must be paid to the Village at the time of the booking. The balance must be paid to the Village at the latest 30 days before the start of the stay. For bookings made less than 30 days before the arrival date, the total payment must be made at the time of booking with the Village.

MEANS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED:

Credit cards (CB, visa, Euro card – Master-Card), bank transfer, Paypal. Payment in three interest-free instalments (only for booking on-line): you can spread your payment over 3 monthly instalments (full payment to be made up to 30 days before arrival date). This mean of payment is proposed provided that the lapse of time between the taking of reservation and the date of arrival is of at least 3 months (90j), a bill-book will be proposed to you. The first payment takes place at the latest six days after the taking of reservation.

BOOKING FEES:

The campsite Lous Seurrots offers the booking fees.

TOURIST TAX:

The tourist tax varies according to the local council and is not included in our prices.

BOOKING MODIFICATIONS:

Any booking is nominative and cannot be assigned to someone else for any reason. Any modifications between the time of reservation and arrival must be notified and written imperatively to the reservation service of the Campsite Lous Seurrots. Alterations to your booking may be made at no cost, subject to availability of the Campsite Lous Seurrots. The campsite Lous Seurrots keeps the right to deny access to the village to groups or families whose number exceeds the capacity of the accommodation rented, and/or does not correspond to the number of people noted down at the time of the booking. The campsite Lous Seurrots keeps the right to move the customer from a pitch or an accommodation to another in case of absolute necessity, temporary unavailability or to optimize the reservations.

CANCELLATION:

– If you have to delay or cancel your stay, please let us know about it as soon as possible by writing a letter or by email. (Phone calls will not be taken into account). Without any notification, the accommodation or the pitch will be made available again for sale 24 hours after the arrival date specified in the contract and you will consequently forfeit your booking. No refund will be possible.

– In case of cancellation, you will be reimbursed after deducting the amounts specified below. If the cancellation occurs:

  • More than 30 days before the start of the stay: the campsite Lous Seurrots will retain 25% of the total price of the stay as an indemnity for breaking of contract.
  • Less than 30 days before the start of the stay: No refund will occur and the total price will be retained as an indemnity for breaking of contract.

– In case of cancellation by the Campsite Lous Seurrots, except in case of absolute necessity, the paid amount will be fully reimbursed. However this cancellation can never lead to the payment of damages.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE:

The campsite Lous Seurrots suggests you to subscribe to a cancellation insurance, for 15€/stay for a pitch and 3€/night for a rental accommodationThe cancellation insurance is facultative and must be paid at the time of the booking.

Before your departure, in the following instances:

  • Serious illness or serious accident or death to yourself, your spouse or member of your family,
  • Complication of pregnancy before the 7th month,
  • Considerable material damage to your property requiring your presence,
  • Redundancy,
  • Accident to or theft of your vehicle and/or caravan occurring on the (direct) journey to the place you are staying at,
  • Cancellation or alteration of your holidays dates by your employer.

You will be reimbursed:

  • The down payment of 25% in case of an event occurring between the date of reservation and the 30th day before the scheduled date from which the reservation runs.
  • 100% of the sum paid in the case of an event occurring less than 31 days before this date.

During your stay, should one of the incidents mentioned above occur obliging you to shorten your stay, you will be reimbursed for the sum corresponding to the part of your visit non-effected and which has already been invoiced by the campsite.

In case of accident: Advise the campsite in writing (recorded delivery) within 24 hours, as soon as you know of any eventuality that will prevent your departure. Within 48 hours, advise the insurance company, providing written proof of the accident. This list above is provided for information purposes only. A copy of the general terms covering this policy is available at the offices of the insurance company.

ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES:

Pitches are available from 2:00pm the day of arrival and must be released before noon the day of departure. Days of arrival and departure are free. All pitches have a maximum allowance of 6 persons, babies and children included, as well as one caravan or one motor-home.

The rentals are available from 4:00pm and must be released before 10:00am. Days of arrival and departure are the Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from the 08/07 to the 02/09 (7 nights minimum). For the other periods, days of arrival and departure are free (2 nights minimum).

Weekend Package: offer valid on weekends in low season. You have 30% off for a bike rental and for the towels and bed linens. The hours of arrival are after 2:00pm and the hours of departure are before 2:00pm. See the price list or contact directly the reception.

At your arrival, an inventory list is given to you to check the accommodation. In order to avoid any misunderstanding, indicate to the reception if you notice any flaw under 24hours. Any complain after 24 hours will not be allowable.

The tenant is expected to leave the accommodation in the same condition found upon arrival. The accommodation shall be left perfectly cleaned, and the inventory may be checked. Any breakage or damage shall be payable by you, along with any repairs to the premises, if that should prove necessary. In case the accommodation has not been cleaned properly before your departure, a cleaning charge of 70€ shall be asked to you. Any ask for extension of your stay must be expressed 24 hours minimum before the date of departure planned at first. For any delayed departure, you may be charged for an additional day at the price applicable for that night (after 10:00am for the renting and after noon for a camping pitch).

In case of late arrival and/or early departure volunteer or by decision of the campsite for no respect of the procedures, neither any reimbursement nor any reduction will be made. The campsite reserves the right to rent again the pitch or the rental to the first request. Installation of an additional tent next to an accommodation is strictly forbidden except for special accommodations planned for this purpose and subject to an extra (subject to conditions and to availability, contact the campsite directly).

CAMPSITE ACCESS:

Wearing the bracelet that is given to you on your arrival is compulsory.

VISITORS:

In the campsite Lous Seurrots, you are allowed to receive visitors. For security reasons, the visitors must go to the reception and fulfil a tax before visiting a resident. Otherwise, the direction reserves the right to forbid the campsite access to visitors not registered.

PETS:

Pets – apart from dogs of Category 1 and 2 (dangerous) – are admitted in the campsite Lous Seurrots, for a supplement payable at the time of the booking. When admitted, they must be leashed at all times. They are prohibited in swimming pools area, in food shops, and in the buildings. Your pet must be vaccinated against rabies. Its vaccination certificate must be updated and showed to the receptionists on your arrival. A single animal is admitted in each accommodation or on each pitch.

TUMULTS AND NUISANCES:

The campsite regulations are available at the reception. The residents of the campsite Lous Seurrots have to behave in accordance with all the procedures, in particular concerning night peace. Each tenant is responsible for tumults and nuisances caused by the people who are staying with him/her or visiting him/her. If any person causes nuisance to other holidaymakers, his/her holiday will be stopped immediately and the management will not be liable for any compensation.

INJURIES:

In case of litigations, the tenant or camper must be insured for the risks of the everyday life. The campsite Lous Seurrots is not responsible in case of theft, fire, bad weather or natural disaster… and in case of incident released by the civil responsibility of the resident. Any damage of the premises, loss or destruction of the furniture elements which equip the accommodations of the campsite, engage the full right of the responsibility of the person who caused the accident.

MINORS UNACCOMPANIED:

Minors unaccompanied by their parents or by their legal guardians will not be admitted in the campsite.

IMAGE RIGHT:

The campsite Lous Seurrots reserves the right to use pictures, taken in the scope of the everyday activity of the campsite, on which you or your children might be represented. The customer accepts the use which could be done notably on external communication media and gives up to any remuneration or compensation.

JURISDICTION:

Every camper or resident has to comply with the campsite regulations enumerated above. Only the courts of the Landes are competent.
